Relationships With Your Children
If you have been abused in some sort of way it can affect the way you bring your children up and also have an affect on them. The first time you have a baby can be very triggering but also a lovely experience. Some people find they are worried about hurting their children without meaning to because of what happened to them. Just because you were abused it DOES NOT mean you will go on to abuse....

Love your child the way you wanted to be loved, a safe love that’s constant with boundaries and caring.

Don't be afraid to love your child and hold them etc, it is what they need.

Children can help you to heal from your experiences too bye the unconditional love that they give to you and the trust they put into you, it can be very rewarding.
